About Us

The Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) help Minnesotans build clean energy by connecting people with the resources they need to implement projects.

A partnership among Great Plains Institute, Minnesota Department of CommerceRegional Sustainable Development Partnerships at University of Minnesota Extension, and Southwest Regional Development Commission, our staff are experts in renewable energy, energy efficiency practices, and emerging energy technologies.

We are unbiased, positive, and practical. We help people learn from their peers, and we like to show people with technology.
